Backstage at a Myer fashion show is always an eye opening experience and to put it simply, it’s somewhat controlled chaos.
That said though, whether you’re there in person or experiencing it via images captured and displayed post event, it’s an experience well worth it! So without further delay, here are all the highlights from Myer backstage at their Spring Summer 2015 Fashion Launch held at Carriageworks in Sydney last week…
The show’s main models, being Myer Ambassadors, Kris Smith, Kate Peck and Italian-Australian model, Nicole Trunfio, along with the face of Myer, Jen Hawkins, stopped for a few stylish and well posed frames.
The landscape was a creative wonderland of models being prepped by hair and make-up…
And weaving their hair wands were the hair magicians from KEVIN.MURPHY – who executed colourful très chic finger wave up-dos and paradisiacal tasseled tresses (using that fabulous COLOUR.BUG of theirs). Along with clever and divinely disheveled looks for the female models and carefully constructed; and rather dapper, looks for the male models too.
As Kevin Murphy (himself), applied the final touches to Kris Smith’s hair (below)… Lucky man some would say!
Equally flittered throughout the transpiring real life works of art, were the team of makeup artists from Napoleon Perdis. Making over the models with dewy and highlighted skin, contoured cheek bones and perfectly muted pouts to compliment.
